M-Tec Te iden Vector Thrust Vehicle

The Theiden vector thrust vehicle is one of the main units for ground attacks from the sky. With it´s two powerfull engines, both with two single remotable thrust slots, it´s maneuverability is better than on most combat helicopters by higher stability against shear winds what usually make urban combat a hell for helicopters.
It can be refuled in the air, and the fueltanks are placed like a saddle to protect the main engine. Most systems are redundant to keep this light tank up in the air, even if hitten by heavy weapons.
A helpin A.I. scanns the enviroment through the camera balls on top and nose for treatments and tactical datas to assist pilot, gunner and missiles.
As main weapon it carry 32 heavy multi purpose missiles with selfguiding systems. For dogfights it has a coaxial twin cannon of 40mm what rips every flying enemy from the sky.
The last weapon, beneth the flares, are a high movable 40mm gatling cannon with higher power through a longer barrel. The ammo box is sepperated from the hull to not harm the vehicle in case of a hit.
If landing, the vehicle has extendible skids in it´s, then uprightly erected, engines to land with.

Das Theiden Vektorschubfahrzeug ist eine der Basiseinheiten für Bodenangriffe von der Luft aus. Mit seinen beiden kraftvollen Triebwerken, beide mit jeweils zwei einzeln anseuerbaren Schubleisten, ist die Manövrierfähigkeit besser als bei den meisten Angriffshelikoptern, bei höherer Stabilität gegen Scherwinde die urbane Kämpfe für Helikopter zur Hölle machen.
Es kann in der Luft betankt werden. Die Treibstofftanks trägt es wie ein Sattel um das mittlere Triebwerk zu schützen. Die meisten Systeme sind darüber hinaus redundant um es in der Luft zu halten, selbst wenn es von schweren Waffen getroffen wurde.
Eine unterstützende K.I. sucht die Umgebung durch die beiden Ballkameras auf dem Dach und unter der Nase nach Gefahren und taktischen Daten ab und unterstützt damit Pilot, Schütze und Lenkraketen.
Die Primärbewaffnung besteht in 32 schweren Mehrzwecklenkwaffen. Für Luftkämpfe besitzt es zwei koaxiale 40mm Kanonen um jeden fliegenden Gegner zu zerreißen. Die letzte Waffe, neben den Täuschkörperwerfern, ist eine hochgradig beweglich gelagerte 40mm Gatlingkanone mit größerer Durchschlagskraft durch einen längeren Lauf. Di eMunition für diese Waffe ist extern gelagert um Schaden am Fahrzeug zu vermeiden sollte das Depot getroffen werden.
Wenn das Fahrzeug landet fährt es Kufen aus den, dann aufgerichteten, Triebwerksgondeln aus.
