Der schwere Kommandoläufer führt die Söldnertruppe der Schattenfüchse in Bodenkämpfen an - welchen die Füchse am besten beherrschen.
Der hochgradig modifizierte Läufer des amtierenden Führers kann zwar verschieden bewaffnet werden, doch die verheerende finanzielle Situation der Gruppe beschränkt ihn derzeit auf diese Mehrzweckvariante um mit allen Problemen fertig zu werden.
Trotz dieser Nachteile bildet der Läufer eine der schwersten Einheiten auf den Schlachtfeldern der föderierten Welten und darüber hinaus. Nach den großen Kriegen eigentlich ein Relikt sind die Läufer heute weitestgehend durch wirtschaftlichere Panzer, Fluggeräte und Infanteristen verdrängt worden, auch wenn sie noch immer eine beträchtliche Kampfgewalt darstellen.
Neben der enormen Reparaturkosten haben auch die langen Ausbildungszeiten für Läuferpiloten dieser Waffengattung defakto den Todesstoß versetzt. Und seit die föderierte Flotte praktisch nur noch schwere Schiffe einsetzt und für Bodenoperationen die großen Söldnergilden unter Vertrag nimmt sind solche Systeme höchstens bei einigen Spezialeinheiten der Söldner vertreten – und eben bei der eingeschworenen Gesellschaft der Schattenfüchse, die seit einigen Generationen die meisterliche Handhabung der Läufer immer weiter perfektionieren, auch wenn es als Preis die gefährlichsten und zwielichtigsten Einsätze fordert.

Der zweite Läufer gehört dem Schützen des Alpharudels(was ein Euphormismus aus alten Tagen ist, denn der Schattenfuchs verfügt lediglich über ein Rudel und ein weiteres kleines aus Exoskelettrüstungen). Seine primäre Aufgabe ist ein ausgemachtes schweres oder überschweres Ziel mit seinen 20 schweren Raketen zu bekämpfen. Da diese Waffen weder leicht aufzutreiben noch kostengünstig sind werden sie nur bei spezialisierten Missionen ins Feld geführt, so bleibt der Schütze meist im Hangar oder geht ohne Raketen ins Feld.

Von der kleinen Flotte der Söldnergruppe sind lediglich zwei Schiffe verblieben, der schwere Zerstörer Schneefuchs, noch aus den militärischen Werftanlagen der durch Exodus untergegangenen Heimatkolonie, jedoch immer mit den besten leistbaren Systemen aufgerüstet. Der Hangar der Kampfläufer liegt im Bauch des umgebauten Großraumfrachtschiffes Canis, das aus fremder Produktion stammt. Und auch wenn eine Sturmlandung immer eine große Belastung für den in die Jahre gekommenen Frachter bedeutet würden die Füchse nie auf ihre ungeschlagen schnellen Taktiken verzichten.

Der Läufer verlässt sich in erster Linie auf seine Defensivsysteme die eingehende Raketen und Dronen abwehren, auch wenn der Pilot diese Aufgabe einmal nicht selbst erledigen kann. Dann besitzt er eine ausreichende Energieversorgung um stabile Schilde aufrecht halten zu könne, die jedoch nur effektiv gegen die fast überall gebräuchlichen Energiewaffen sind und physische Objekte nicht beeinträchtigen. Als letzte Defensivmaßnahme bleibt nur noch teils reaktive, teils starre Panzerung, immer im Zwiespalt von Beweglichkeit und Trägheit verbaut.
Offensiv ist der Läufer hervorragend bestückt, so kann er auf extreme Entfernungen Ziele mit seiner verheerenden Magnetschienenkanone bekämpfen, gegen die ja selbst im Orbit operierende Raumschiffe empfindlich sind, da ihre starken Schilde keine Wirkung hiergegen zeigen und ihre strukturverstärkenden Feldgeneratoren die Waffe meist nur noch effektiver machen. Im Nahkampf kann die Waffe bei niedrigerer Energie in schnellerer Folge feuern.
Die Flächen-Effekt-Plasmafeldkanone hingegen ist gegen mittelharte Ziele gedacht und feuert einen auffächernden Bolzen extremerhitzten Plasmas der sich durch die verbrennende Atmosphäre fortsetzt und aufstreut. Durch die Kombination an Kinetischer- und Hitzewirkung ist die Waffe besonders gegen Gebäude, Bunker und schwieriges Gelände effektiv.
Die recht klassischen Laserkanonen sollen sich gegen schwer gepanzerte Ziele bewehren, wobei die Lagerung eine automatische Einstellung um 2° erlaubt um statistisch verwundbare Trefferzonen zu bekämpfen, selbst wenn der Pilot selber nur aus der Hüfte schießt.
Um den enormen Energieverbrauch der Schilde und Waffensysteme zu kompensieren wurde bei diesem Modell ein zusätzlicher externer Reaktor verbaut.

English:

This heavy command walker leads the mercenaries of the Schattenfüchse(Shadow Foxes) in ground combats – what the foxes do best.
The highly modified walker of the incumbent leader may indeed be armed differently, but in the disastrous financial situation of the group it is currently restricted to this multi-purpose version to cope with all the problems.

Despite these drawbacks, the walker is one of the heavyest weapons on the battlefields of the federated worlds and beyond. After the great wars really a relic today it have been largely supplanted by more economical tanks, aircraft and infantry, even if they still represent a significant fighting force.
Aside this, the enormous repair costs and the long training periods for walker pilots gave these weapons defacto the death blow. And since the federated fleet uses virtually only heavy ships and take for ground operations the large mercenary guilds under contract, such systems are only represent in some special units of mercenary guilds - and in the sworn society of the Schattenfüchse, who perfect its mastery of this weapon since some generations, even at the cost of the most dangerous and windy operations.

The second walker belongs to the sagittarius of the aplha pack(which is a euphormismus from the old days, for the Schattenfüchse has only one pack and another smaller of only exoskelleton armours).
Its primary task is to fight a spotted heavy or superheavy target with his 20 heavy missiles. Since these weapons raise neither easy to find nor inexpensive, they are only for specialized missions out into the field, so the shooter remains mostly in the hangar or goes without rockets into combat.

The small fleet of the mercenary group left only two ships, the heavy destroyer Schneefuchs(snow fox), build nor at the military shipyard facilities of the defunct by Exodus home colony, however, always be upgraded with the best affordable systems. The walker hangar is in the belly of the converted large space freighter Canis, which comes from foreign production. And even if a storm landing is always a great burden for the aged freighter, the foxes would never relinquish their unbeaten quick tactics.

Now this seems to be quite a fine, kickass mech design right here. Personally, I'd go with larger footpads, so as to stabilize it better under heavy fire, but I really like the fact that, unlike a lot of mechs in games, you gave it some very good detailing, particularly on the torso, around the sensory equipment and weapon ports. And I have to say I love floating arm plates like that. They really complete the feeling. Layered with kinetic protective ceramic, to shield the sensitive arm joint from flanking fire, am I right?

Jepp, i know what you mean - was my first idea, failed through my disability to make a decision what kind of foot-style i want to choose. But i also like this, more animee-style, design. 
At last it makes sense. What i not wrote - cause it would lead too far - was the tech in the mech. The defense of bigger units in my story was made of structure-integrity-fields, what held the molekules closer together than they usually do through itīs natural charge. So itīs hardent like diamant without getting fragile. So itīs, in easy words, kind of magnetism, clueing the vehicle together. This in fact also manipulates the acting mass on other objects(less inertia, less mathematical whight that works on the ground - itīs not less whightend but acts as it would(like an black hole mathematically bend time)). 
Long speak - the foots must find just a single moment grip to do itīs job. Toes would just rise the risk of a object on the ground what works as an lever against the balance of the walking machine. For sure - this makes it a quick vehicle, as well as hell to get a pilot for it. But this i wrote, the weapon category was elite through itīs energy shield + the integrety shield + high speed and manouverability, but not easy to manage, and so to expensive in planet wide warfares. 
The plates shield(with the integrity-up) the main weapon systems, what unfortunately have the most potential inside to rip the mech into pieces if hitten while working with the high energy flux(what rests in a well shielded reactor otherwise).
Not at last, they are kind of sail areas to make it more easy to handle the mech in full assault run(and looks much better - a avoid mech needs kind of wings or? xD).
So, yes, youīre right^^

Ah, ok, just one of those things where you don't know what the hell to do with it. That probably happens to everyone, myself included.. A LOT. :b But I would agree, the legs still do look like they would perform well. And molecular integrity field, you say? I also have a similar thing used by a nation in one of my stories. Definitely a good way to go, much more cost effective than the traditional sci-fi "force field" idea. Sounds like fun stuff, I bet you could probably get a few centimeters of steel to have the strength of a few meters with that. ^^ Well, sounds like a modern-day tank wouldn't be able to even touch this thing. All pretty nice ideas.

All depending on what level of tech you set for your reality. The classical force field is something so reachable that i use it also, but i make some difference in the single technologys. Nothing is a perfect solution, like no todays armor is good against all kind of ammo. I like to create a more tactical and techy universe than just blasters&force fields. 
So, a example - ther are plasma weapons(charged gas with a high thermal energy ratio), lasercannons(you know...classical), railguns and normal projectile weapons. And on the other side - energy fields(projectet, but can only "discharge"(or better - ground) energy. But physical objects pass witout a problem), intigrety fields and classical armor, general or speciallised on different weapon damage. All have ther advantage disadvantage, like real world weapon systems.
Lasers are cool for space fights where all ships are fighting on extrem distance and with high speed, it hits directly, but only carry a medium amount of energy. Plasma is way slower and less accurate in such fights, but it carrys thermal energy in addition and can get sized up with no limits, perfect weapons for heavy-firepower-ships on low distance. Railguns are tricky, cause ther projectiles are (comparable) slow and the rails are easy to damage(big targets, little fault tolerance in the tech), but brings a lot of kinetic energy into the target. But on too solid materials(too fat generators for the intigrity fields on capital ships) the extrem speed of the projectile brings its own problems, they shatter before the kinetic energy can be delivert into the target. No effect results. So itīs just a solution for quick destroyers. Etc..

I hate TOO easy worlds xD

Yeah for sure, but this comparison would be extrem unfair. If we would set the same amount of money in modern day tanks, the walker must trust in itīs agility, cause all field had itīs limits. And missiles also not just a small problem. Massive fire could kick it out of balance, or a simple rocket battery could plow the ground on his feet, what in full run could result in some terrible accidents. I like the idea of high tech, but no absolut insurance to be untachable;)
